How much woulda chip clip, clip, if a chip clip could clip shorts…what?
Yeah, you read me right! I did. I used a chip clip on my kids swim trucks to keep him from showing the entire lake his full moon.
I accidently brought Timmy’s swim trunks for Bo and the poor kid would have been crushed if I told him he couldn’t swim in the lake. I couldn’t find anything at the cottage to work. Not safety pins, no rubber bands. And we all know since I don’t even sew on a button there was no hope of me having an emergency needle and thread kit in my purse. Hahahahahahaha. I just thought I would join those who were already laughing at the idea of me carrying needle and thread. Yeah, I heard ya.
Anyway, back to my amazing MacGyver moves(for anyone who is actually old enough to remember MacGyver with me.) All, I found was a handy chip clip that just might work. He wasn’t thrilled about the fashion statement, and even less thrilled about me taking his picture, documenting the incident which will naturally show up later in a graduation slide show.

But it worked!!!!! There was no skinny dipping, no full moon and no tears. Now, granted, we did get some glimmers of a crescent moon peeking out here and there…but hey, a little moonlight makes the night pretty…right?
